Four ways in.
One steady practice.

Hypnotherapy

Gut-directed sessions

Guided visualisation and calming suggestion, focused on the gut. Gut-directed hypnotherapy is one of the best-studied approaches for IBS, recommended in UK and US gastroenterology guidelines, and it's the core of what we do.

CBT tools

For the thoughts that spiral

Sixteen short sessions for the worries that circle around symptoms: understanding what's happening, easing worry and body focus, getting back to the things you've been avoiding, and real-life moments like meals out and appointments.

Breathwork

Breathing, made for the gut

Sixteen slow-breathing practices built for gut symptoms. Learn the basics, calm down fast, settle before and after meals, or wind down for sleep.

Flare Support

One tap, whenever you need it

A dedicated tab, always in reach, for the moments things get hard. Short recordings you've saved sit at the top, with a curated set below. Use it only when it's safe to focus.

Seven weeks, one step at a time.

Foundations is the main program: five gut-directed hypnotherapy recordings a week, played in order. You can replay anything you've finished.

  1. Week 1 Settling In
  2. Week 2 Quieting the Alarm
  3. Week 3 Warmth & Comfort
  4. Week 4 Turning Down the Signal
  5. Week 5 The Steady Flow
  6. Week 6 Meeting It With Calm
  7. Week 7 Your Own Calm
  8. After week 7 A condition track for what bothers you most, and Deepen to keep going.

Five condition tracks

Four recordings each: Calm the Cramps, Ease the Urgency, Gentle Movement, Settle the Bloat, and Soothe Reflux.

Deepen

Eight recordings for ongoing practice once Foundations is done, from a daily cue to steadying through stress.

Alongside the program, in any order

CBT 16 sessions in 4 categories
Breathwork 16 sessions

Gut-brain support, for anyone who needs it.

Traditional gut-brain therapy comes with a waitlist and a bill most people can't cover. Mind the Gut puts well-studied methods into guided audio on your phone, at a price meant to be within reach wherever you live.

Rooted in real research.

Mind the Gut draws on two approaches that UK and US gastroenterology guidelines recommend for IBS: gut-directed hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for gut symptoms. Both have been tested in clinical trials, hypnotherapy since the 1980s.

We add slow diaphragmatic breathing, which gut specialists use for some kinds of belching and bloating. Research on breathing on its own for IBS is still early.

Mind the Gut is a wellness companion and hasn't itself been tested in clinical trials. We don't diagnose or treat. If your symptoms are new, severe, or getting worse, please see your GP or gastroenterologist.
